This is my first Acer. For someone who viewed Acer as a budget brand, this Predator Triton 500 SE has significantly changed my mind. It’s not perfect, but this is a very nice laptop! It’s expensive, but it’s still inline or even costs less than other brands with similar configurations.

It’s hard to decide on a gaming laptop that varies among manufacturers. Processors, ram, GPU’s, display, screen size, etc., so many things to consider. Well, I am more than satisfied. This purchase may in fact be my favorite of all time.

Well balanced for gamers, creators, and professionals.
Performance:
– Apex Legends got 110+ fps, with maxed graphics settings, default performance mode.
– Halo Infinite got around 115 fps at high graphics settings, default performance mode.
– Default fan mode seems to slightly favor being quiet over being cool.
– Extreme and Turbo performance modes are only available when plugged in (understandable) and the battery’s over 40% (seems a bit high).
